Men are often embarrassed when the topic of best penis size is brought to discussion. At some point, guys often ask themselves whether their woman is satisfied about what they can offer in bed. Of course, the closest measurement to gauge one’s manhood is the size of the penis. Courtesy of social trends, stereotypes and standards, the penis has become a symbol of man’s superiority and virility.
Through the years, the issue regarding a good penis size has still been a topic. In fact, Durex, a well-known condom manufacturing corporation, performed a survey on penis sizes to further develop the design of its products. The research was participated by some 3,000 men from more than 24 countries. The participants were asked to measure the length and thickness of their reproductive organ and report the results via the Web. The reports showed that the standard length of the erect penis was 6.4 inches and the standard erect girth, measured from the thickest part of the penis, was 5.2 inches.
Despite these results, the participants were believed to have exaggerated their penis size. This may be because of the fact that men do tend to lie about their size; there are some who even wish that theirs were a little longer or thicker. No matter how frequently it is being said that size does not matter, the fact remains that the average man can grow sensitive regarding the issue. The average female may not understand it, but men know how it is to be obsessed with the perfect penis size.
What men have sometimes overlooked, however, is measurement of their penis when erect. According to statistics, a man who has a smallish non-erect penis will usually attain nearly a 100% increase in length during sexual stimulation, and a large non-erect penis will most likely attain about a 75% increase. These figures show that those who have “small” penises have a compensating factor that will bring them up to almost the same size as those who are more “gifted.”
Thus, as long as one falls between 5 to 6 inches during erection, he should be satisfied. Anatomically speaking, the highest measurement of the human male penis may reach up to 7. However, the perfect penis size doesn’t usually mean he is the perfect love maker. Remember that the real measure of a man’s virility is not the size, but the performance.
