More than a million people get infected with genital herpes every year. What makes this issue more startling is that there seems to be no cure for Herpes Simplex Virus. For years now, people have only been receiving treatments to ease the symptoms. Many researchers have been looking for a genital herpes cure because of the possibility of catching AIDS due to the skin lesions. Furthermore, since herpes simplex can deteriorate the immune system, patients suffering from herpes are likely to become a target for HIV or AIDS viruses.

The fascinating facet about the Herpes Simplex Virus is that it hides inside the nervous system and becomes active when triggered by certain foods. It rises to the skin surface where it duplicates in the process called “shedding.” It is in this process that researchers focus on in attempts to diminish it.

Recently, scientists have discovered that an amino acid called lysine is found to restrain the rapid reproduction of the Herpes Simplex Virus, thus minimizing the spread of the genital herpes contamination. Another report has indicated that a portion of the particular viral genome causes the HSV virus to wait in an inactive state during the dormant periods. Scientists are finding ways to capitalize this dormant state by making sure the virus remains inactive, and can be washed out.

For the meantime, scientists are still searching for other herpes cure and treatments. As of today, Herpeset has been successful in alleviating the severity of the Herpes Simplex Virus. The medicine has a unique blend of nine ingredients synthesized to carefully minimize the uneasiness caused by symptoms of HSV, such as: ache, burning, inflammation, itching, pain and swelling. These homeopathic ingredients are designed to assault the symptoms, and can be safely incorporated with other medications with no stupor or unpleasant side effects.
