This exercise works the muscles of the pelvic floor. The pubococcygeus muscles, which are sometimes referred to as the “PC” muscles are the ones being worked at here. These important muscles hold the pelvic organs, help provide core stability, control urination, and can enhance sexual performance and/or enjoyment.
