Teen Must-knows on Sex

Respect, like trust, is something that you earn, not demand from other people. And sometimes, sex revolves around this word. The ideal sexual relationship is one that is full of mutual respect and trust.

As cliché goes, you teach other how to treat you, and this also goes the same way under the sheets with the lights deemed and romance on the air. Sometimes, along with stripping of our clothes for sex, we also strip of the walls that we normally guard ourselves with. That is why it is important that you have a sexual partner that you can honestly respect and trust for this will only be the time that sex will have a deeper meaning for both of you.

While you are still not sire on these, better not jump yet between the sheets. To get respect, to teach people how to treat you, it is also important that you treat yourself well, that you be confident with who you are and what you’re worth. At the tender age of teenage life, we will often be led astray as to our real identity. Never, and I mean, never engage into sex if you’re not too sure of yourself. The risks are too high and your regrets can last a lifetime. So while you’re still on the scaffolds of jumping in the bandwagon, we can give you tips which will give your dates more space to reveal and celebrate first who you are before you’ll lost it in the uncertainties that may be brought about by teen sex.

In dating, don’t be afraid to venture out to places and activities, like polls, roller-skating, school sporting events, and movies. Keep yourselves active you’ll stay out of trouble. These activities will also keep boredom at bay, as idle hands are often the instruments of the devil. Furthermore, don’t go out alone with your date too much. At your age I’m sure you’ll love going out with your boyfriend/girlfriend along with a group of friends. The more the merrier isn’t it?

However, you can always take your boyfriend/girlfriend over to your home even if just to signify to your parent that you are dating seriously. Also, if you make it a habit to introduce the persons that are close to you, you will likewise be introduced to future 'friends' without having to be asked.

Never allow inappropriate touching from your date even if it is unintentional. Bring to his or her attention that there are some things beyond borders. The earlier you make things clear about this, the better. If you don’t hold the same opinion, then you won’t have to agonize over a longer relationship gone to waste. However, you can talk about sex to your friends but most importantly to your parents or any elder persons. You will need to know why your body is changing, why it feels the way it does and exactly what happens in the physical act of sex. Be careful though of your sources of reliable information, asks someone who loves you and who is only looking after the best of your interest.

Finally, do enjoy you time going out and exploring who you really are. You are growing up, fast, and one day soon you’ll look back with joy at the blissful days of teenage. Inspite of all the awkwardness that this issue on sex can cause to you and your relationships I’m sure it will also be full of rewarding experiences. So, go ahead and have fun but look after yourself as well!
