A lot of women nowadays are complaining about their weight gain ever since they had menopause. Menopause indeed is inevitable but menopause weight gain can still be reduced. However, is should your weight gain all to be blamed on menopause? I don’t think so. Weight gain can also be pointed out to your lifestyle and eating habits. Metabolism sure does slow down but you may have slowed down too. Could be your schedule is too hectic that all you eat is more on fast food rather than a homecooked meal. Dieting can do wonders in shedding off unwanted menopause weight gain. Why not reduce your calorie intake by substituting fish for meat and eating tofu instead of pork? Try to shave off 30 calories here, and 30 calories there, and try and find 250 calories or so during your day. Shift to whole wheat bread and add some fiber to your diet. Cut off on carbs and lessen your cholesterol by eating less oily and fatty foods. How about replacing tuna spread to your sandwich rather than the usual peanut butter or other dairy products? What about beverages? Try substituting lemonade for soda or if you are a coffee drinker, switch cream for milk or try drinking it black, keep latte’s for a special weekend treat.

You will absolutely be able to tweak our diet enough to find 250 calories or more at the end of the day. Moreover, if you stick to this plan and exercise more, getting rid of menopause weight gain is indeed within reach. However, doing these things requires a lot of sacrifice. If you are really determined to lose all that fat, start immediately and don’t waste any time and see the amazing results!
